Lustrous Jewellery is an online specialty store offering customers exclusively creative and high quality pearl jewellery at truly affordable prices; it is a fine jewellery brand known for its creative, innovative designs and finest craftsmanship.
Lustrous Jewellery only uses Cultured Pearls in our designs; we DO NOT use Sea Shell Pearls which are made from crushed sea shells and are at much cheaper cost. Lustrous Jewellery designs include highly fashionable as well as timeless classic pieces.
The accessory metal such as necklace clasps and ring bands in Lustrous Jewellery are 18K gold plated sterling silver which guarantees the most sustainable shining colour in silver.
Every Lustrous Jewellery item is hand-crafted and we only use natural cultured pearls so each piece is unique and in some cases, the individual item will have slight differences from the photos, for example the slight different in colours & shapes.
How to order Lustrous Jewellery?
Ordering using the website
- Goods are easy to order, just by adding them to the cart as you go along, as soon as you wish to complete the order just follow the online instructions
- All card transactions are secured by the Protx payment system (see Security and Privacy)
Ordering by email
- Orders can be sent directly to us by e-mail at sales@lustrousjewellery.com
- On receipt of your order we will confirm the order by email.
Ordering by telephone
- Lustrous Jewellery is an Internet-only boutique. We do not accept orders via telephone.
Order confirmation
- All orders are confirmed by e-mail so that you know that we have received your order.
Cancellation of order
Order from Abroad

We welcome orders from abroad and customers can check different currency by choosing the multi-currency display on the website. Currently, we charge a fixed oversea delivery fee of £6.50 to any countries outside the UK, which will be applied during the 'check-out' process.
‘Out of Stock’ Items Ordering
- You can still order products when they show ‘out of stock’ and we will notify you by email or phone of an approximate delivery date within 24 hours
Urgent Delivery for special occasions
- If you are ordering for a special occasion and want the delivery arrive as quick as it can, you can upgrade to a Next Day Guaranteed Delivery at the checkout provided it is ordered by 14.00hrs. You will need to have someone in to sign receipt of your parcel. If it is after 14.00hrs please call us and we will tell you if we can get your order out still).
How will My Lustrous Jewellery Arrive
- Every purchase from Lustrous Jewellery will be placed into its own purple velvet pouch and then placed in to one of our exclusive branded gift boxes and dispatched off to you.
Payment
VAT and Tax
All prices quoted on our website are in pounds sterling (£) and include the UK sales tax (VAT). The current rate of VAT is 17.5%. If your order is being sent to Europe, your invoice will include VAT at 17.5%. If your order is being dispatched outside of Europe, your sales tax will be zero. All overseas deliveries are subject to local import duties and taxes and may be affected by Customs and Excise delays. Lustrous Jewellery will not be held liable for any local import duties and taxes.
Credit / Debit Cards
- We accept all major credit cards, except American Express. We also accept Electron, Solo, Switch and Visa Delta debit cards.
- For an order we require the credit / debit card number, expiry date, the start date and the last three digits of the security number on the reverse of the card. For Switch cards we will also need the issue number.
Cheques
- Please make cheques payable Lustrous Jewellery.
- Include your full name and address and telephone number.
- Ensure that you have included in writing the details of the goods you require
- Your order will be dispatched as soon as the cheque has been cleared by the bank.
Postal Orders
- We are happy to accept Postal Orders
- For security purposes please cross the Postal Orders and make them payable to Lustrous Jewellery.
How to Care for your Pearl Jewellery?

To minimize contact your pearl jewellery with perfume, make-up, hairspray, perspiration etc. which can alter your pearls’ luster or color, your pearls should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off.

To prevent scratching the pearls' surface, avoid placing them next to jewelry or other objects with sharp edges. A velvet or silk pouch is the ideal storage solution for your pearls. Lustrous Jewellery provides a FREE velvet pouch with every purchase.

Pearls need the moisture in the air to maintain their luster, so make sure your storage containers are porous. And do wear your pearls regularly to give them the added advantage of contact with the natural oils in your skin.

Don't use anything more complicated than a dry or damp soft cloth to clean pearls. If you really want to go further, you can use a bar of plain soap (not detergent) to clean the pearls in soapy water, but it's probably not necessary unless you've just doused them with salad dressing or sprayed them directly with perfume. Then you’ll want to do a quick wash of your pearls to make sure the acid doesn't discolor your pearls or eat away at their surface.
