A visit to our pearl farm

We had a trip to visit our pearl farm partners last week, and had a taste of getting the lustrous pearls out of from the rather un-glamourous oysters.

Hundreds of oysters were brought to us, fresh from the water. It is an exciting process to get the pearls out of the oysters for sure! Alongside the regular pearls we were prepared to get, we fell in love with the larger and more colourful pearls produced using newer techniques. We loved their natural rainbow colour and are already planning a new Lustrous Jewellery collection for them! Watch this space!
